CHILD LABOUR POLICY

At rkimpexp, we strictly adhere to the Child Labour Laws in Pakistan. As per Article 11(3) of the Pakistani Constitution: “No child below the age of 14 years shall be engaged in any factory or mine or any other hazardous employment.”

We fully comply with and respect the legislative acts of Pakistan against child labour and strongly condemn such inhumane practices.

Furthermore, the Punjab Restriction on Employment of Children Ordinance 2016 raises the minimum age for admission to work to 15 years.

According to the Employment of Children Act 1991, a “child” is defined as a person below 14 years of age, and an “adolescent” as a person below 18 years of age.

Therefore, we certify that all our employees involved in the mining, production, and packaging of Himalayan Pink Salt are above the age of 22. We are committed to strictly following the Child Labour Laws in Pakistan.
